Welcome to The National Community Land Trust Network

Welcome to our newest non-profit tenant who joined us in February 2008. This newly formed networking organization's purpose is to help small, local Land Trust Organ-izations all over the United States pool their resources and voices to provide better national recognition of this wonderful vehicle to home ownership for people of limited income and resources. NCLTN also provides training and seminars for the more than 200 member Community Land Trust Organizations and to funders wanting more information on how the Land Trusts operate. They also provide training and information about how to start up new Land Trusts and help people avoid forclosure.

Stop in the basement of Augustana's education building to learn more about how the NCLTN will be helping our community. Visit Glen Gilbert, the inaugural Executive Director of the NCLTN. A former attorney, Glen has over 18 years of business, nonprofit and National Government Office experience in the US and abroad. Or you might find Jessica Grant, Administrative Director, who comes to the Network from Outside In where she managed a county funded program for homeless youth in downtown Portland. In addition to her work with non-profits, Jessica spent two years working in the classrooms of the Berkeley Unified School District in Berkeley, CA. To learn more about these two friendly and enteprising people and the important work they do go to the NCLTN website.
