Throughout the year they enjoy several van trips together, including an annual potluck lunch at Oceanside on the coast. They also provide a ministry of hospitality and food following memorial services at Augustana. One annual event that they host is lunch and Christmas carols at the Albertina Kerr Center.
NeighborSpace meets 2-3 pm most Thursday afternoons for coffee and pie prepared by a variety of volunteer bakers from Augustana and the Thursday Tai Chi class. This social time takes place in the Augustana library, and church members are regularly joined by staff from the non-profits that call Augustana home, as well as Tai Chi class and folks who live in the neighborhood.
