This group meets at 11:30 am for lunch at the Village Inn on Broadway each month on the third Wednesday, except for December. Throughout the year they enjoy several van trips together, including an annual potluck lunch at Oceanside on the coast. They also provide a ministry of hospitality and food following memorial services at Augustana. One annual event that they host is lunch and Christmas carols at the Albertina Kerr Center.
NeighborSpace meets 2-4 pm every Thursday for coffee and pie prepared by Augustana's baker extraordinaire Martin Goplen (pictured at left). This social time takes place in the Augustana library, and church members are regularly joined by staff from the non-profits that call Augustana home, as well as folks who live in the neighborhood. Bring your appetite and drop by for conversation and friendship.
